This secondary entry to the main Trivandrum Railway station located at Thampanoor in Trivandrum district of Kerala has a traditional Kerala styled entry pavilion to match with the traditional compound wall and entry gate of the Trivandrum urban fabric. An over bridge was provided over an existing nallah (drainage), so that it is treated like a small river and not a drainage way. Parking has been provided for 150 cars, 500 two wheelers and a considerable amount of space is made available for heavy vehicles like buses.
